Regan Kibbee is a Los Angeles-based events producer, marketing consultant and arts promoter.
With New York's Downtown Arts Projects, Regan produced the L.A. Edge Festival--a free multidisciplinary arts festival featuring new and emerging talent--and was tapped by Paris-based Guides Gallimard as a contributing editor for their Los Angeles City Guide. She writes about and recommends local cultural events in the QofV List and emailed newsweekly, flavorpill. A well-known and respected event producer and promoter, the Y2K New Year's celebration she organized for eCity Studios was featured in TIME magazine's millennium commemorative issue.
Upon receiving her degree in Art History from UCLA, Regan lived and traveled in Japan, returning to the U.S. to serve as Associate Director for the Japan America Society of Southern California. After seven years with the JAS, she worked on several short films before taking a production position with Sony Pictures Imageworks, the studio's digital effects division. After Sony, she worked as a consultant providing project coordination, public relations and administrative support for arts, entertainment and technology clients. In 2000, she joined internet services provider AppNet, serving as regional marketing manager until the company was acquired and she returned to freelance consulting.
